Manipulate 3D Solids and Surfaces
You can use grips or the Properties palette to change the shape and size of solids and surfaces. The type of solid or surface and how it was created determine how it can be manipulated.

Composite solids are created from two or more individual solids through any of the following commands: UNION, SUBTRACT, and INTERSECT. (FILLET and CHAMFER also create composite solids.) You can manipulate the original individual solids that make up a composite solid or the full form of the composite.
