To slice solids

  1. Click Modify menu 3D Operations Slice.At the Command prompt, enter slice.
  2. Select the objects to slice.
  3. Press ENTER.
  4. Specify two points to define the cutting plane.
  5. Specify which side to retain, or enter b to retain both sides.
 Command entry: SLICE
 Dashboard: 3D Make panel (click icon to expand), Slice
