To modify a named layer state

  1. Click Format menu Layer States Manager. At the Command prompt, enter LAYERSTATE.
  2. In the Layer States Manager, select the named layer state you want to modify.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. In the Edit Layer State dialog box, select the property cells to change.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Click Close to exit the Layer States Manager.
