To delete layers from a layer state

  1. Click Format menu Layer States Manager. At the Command prompt, enter LAYERSTATE.
  2. In the Layer States Manager, select the named layer state you want to delete layers from.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. In the Edit Layer State dialog box, select the layers to delete and click the Delete button.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Click OK to exit the Edit Layer State dialog box.
  7. Click Close to exit the Layer States Manager.
