Generate 2D and 3D Sections

To generate a 2D or 3D section

  1. Select the section object. Right-click the section line and click Generate 2D/3D Section.
  2. In the Generate Section/Elevation dialog box, click 2D Section/Elevation or 3D Section.
  3. Click Include All Objects.
  4. Under Destination, click Insert as New Block.
  5. Click Create.
  6. Specify an insertion point on the screen.

    An unnamed block is inserted consisting of 2D or 3D geometry.
