Associate Section Objects with Views and Cameras

To associate a section object with a view or camera

  1. Click View menu Named Views.At the Command prompt, enter view.
  2. In the View Manager, in the left pane, under Model Views, select a named view or camera.
  3. In the General section, in the Live Section drop-down list, select a section object by name.
  4. Click OK.

    The section object is now associated with a named view or camera. When the named viewed or camera is restored, live sectioning is turned on for the associated section object.
