Save a Block in the Block Editor

To save a copy of the current block definition in the Block Editor under a new name

  1. On the Block Editor toolbar, click Save Block Definition As.
  2. In the Save Block As dialog box, enter a name for the new block definition.
  3. Click OK.
  4. To save the block definition in the drawing, click File menu Save.To save the block definition in the drawing, at the Command prompt, enter qsave.
  5. (Optional) If you are finished using the Block Editor, click Close Block Editor.
