To delete a named layer state

  1. Click Format menu Layer States Manager. At the Command prompt, enter LAYERSTATE.
  2. In the Layer States Manager, select the named layer state to delete.
  3. Click Delete.
  4. Click Close to exit the Layer States Manager.
