Set the Render Destination

To set the render destination

  1. At the Command prompt, enter rpref.
  2. In the Advanced Render Settings palette, scroll to the top of the palette. Under General, open the Render Context rollout, if necessary.
  3. Open the Destination list and select Window or Viewport.
  4. Render the scene.
     Toolbar: Render
     Command entry: RPREF
     Dashboard:  Render panel (click icon to expand), Advanced Render Settings
