Apply Materials to Objects and Faces

To apply a material to an object from the Materials window

  1. Click Tools menu; Palettes; Materials.
  2. In the Materials window, select the material you want to apply.
  3. Click Apply Material to Objects.
  4. Using the paintbrush cursor, select the object.

    The material is applied to each object as you select it.

 Toolbar: Render 
 Pointing device: Select objects, and double-click the material swatch.
 Pointing device: Drag the material swatch onto the objects.
 Command entry: MATERIALS
 Dashboard: Materials panel, Display Materials Window
