To change the brightness of the sun

  1. At the Command prompt, enter lightingunits and set the value to 0 for standard lighting.
  2. Click View menu Render Light Sun Properties. At the Command prompt, enter sunproperties.
  3. In the General settings, click the Intensity Factor setting, and select a new value.
     Command entry: VIEW
     Dashboard: Light panel (click to expand), Brightness slider (affects all lights in the viewport)
