To turn the sun on and off in a drawing

  1. At the Command prompt, enter lightingunits and set the value to 0 for standard lighting.
  2. Click View menu Render Light Sun Properties. At the Command prompt, enter sunproperties.
  3. In the General settings, click the Status setting, and select On or Off.
     Toolbar: Lights 
     Command entry: SUNPROPERTIES
     Dashboard: Light panel, Sun Status
