To add a base point parameter to a dynamic block definition

1. In the Block Editor, in the Block Authoring Palettes window, Parameters tab, click the Base Point Parameter tool.
2. Do one of the following to specify a location for the parameter:
   • Use the pointing device.
   • Enter the X and Y coordinate values, separated by a comma.
3. On the Block Editor toolbar, click Save Block Definition.
4. If you are finished using the Block Editor, click Close Block Editor.
