To open a drawing file saved as a block (not dynamic) in the Block Editor

  1. Open the drawing file that is saved as a block.
  2. Click Tools menu Block Editor.At the Command prompt, enter bedit.
  3. In the Edit Block Definition dialog box, select <Current Drawing>.
  4. Click OK.
