To remove a layer from a layer group filter

1. On the Layers toolbar, click Layer Properties Manager.
2. In the Layer Properties Manager tree view, select a group filter.
3. Select the layer you want to remove.
4. Right-click in the list view. Click Remove from Group Filter.
