To open an AutoCAD file from the Internet with the Browse the Web dialog box

1. Click File menu Open.At the Command prompt, enter open.
2. Click the Search the Web button.

   Many Internet connections require you to enter a valid user name and password before accessing the Internet. AutoCAD prompts you to enter this information.

3. In the Browse the Web dialog box, do one of the following:
   • Click a hyperlink on the HTML page that is displayed.
   • Enter a full or partial URL in Look In, and then press ENTER.
4. Repeat step 3 until you locate the file that you want to open.
5. Click Open.
