To attach a DGN as an underlay

1. Click Insert menu DGN Underlay.At the Command prompt, enter dgnattach.
2. In the Select DGN File dialog box, select the file you want to attach.
3. Click Open.
4. In the Attach DGN Underlay dialog box, if the DGN file has multiple design models, choose a model you’d like to attach.
5. Under Conversion Units, specify either Master Units or Sub Units to use as the units in AutoCAD.
6. Use one of the following methods to specify the insertion point, scale, or rotation:
   • Select Specify On-Screen to use the pointing device to attach the DGN underlay at the location, scale, or angle you want.
   • Clear Specify On-Screen and enter values under Insertion Point, Scale, or Rotation.
7. Click OK.
