To change the color of an object, overriding the layer's color

  1. On the Standard toolbar, click Properties.
  2. Select the objects whose color you want to change.
  3. In the Properties palette, select Color.

    An arrow is displayed in the right column.

  4. Click the arrow and select a color from the list.
