Use Shadows in Rendering

To view shadows in the viewport

  1. At the Command prompt, enter visualstyles.
  2. In the Visual Style Manager, select either Conceptual or Realistic.

    Shadow display has no effect for 3D Hidden or 3D Wireframe styles.

  3. Set Shadow Display to Ground Shadows or Full Shadows.
  4. Close the Visual Style Manager.
 Command entry: VISUALSTYLES
 Dashboard: Visual Style panel, Manage Visual Styles
