Detach DGN Underlays

To detach a DGN underlay

  1. Open the External References palette.
  2. In the File References pane, select the DGN underlay you want to detach.
  3. Right-click, and click Detach.

    The DGN underlay is no longer linked to the drawing file, and all instances of the underlay are removed from the drawing.

 Toolbar: Reference 
 Command entry: EXTERNALREFERENCES
 Shortcut menu: Select a DGN underlay and right-click in the drawing area. Click External References.
