To link an entire file as an OLE object in a drawing

  1. Open the drawing.
  2. Click Insert menu OLE Object.At the Command prompt, enter insertobj.
  3. In the Insert Object dialog box, select Create from File.
  4. Select Link. Click Browse.
  5. In the Browse dialog box, select the file you want to link. Click Open.
  6. In the Insert Object dialog box, click OK.

    The entire file is linked to the drawing.
